Skyrim Skill Level Mod

So I've had this idea for a while, but I don't know anything about modding Skyrim.Early on, it's pretty easy to level most skills. Combat skills, armor skills, and things like Destruction Magic level fairly quickly. But once these skills start to get much higher in level, it's gonna take a lot longer to level them.

Skyrim's difficulty is low even for an unoptimized character and it scales to your level anyways so there is no point in gaining levels except for some quest requirements or leveled items. Let’s start with the list of top 30 best Skyrim mods. Relighting Mod. But to find the mage, you’ll have to complete a quest with a character of skill level 40, destruction, restoration, and alterations skills, etc. This particular mod allows you to relive the Skyrim experience as a Dwemer and enjoy harbo8uring all the 42 new spells.

For skills like One-Handed, Two-Handed, and Destruction, a lot of people level by simply beating up Shadowmere (poor guy). While this is a pretty effective way to go about it, I found myself pulling up the skills menu quite a few times, to see how close I was to raising the skill another level (I suppose I'm just impatient ). So, I have an idea that I think would be a nice fix to this, and would also look pretty cool with the HUD.I would like to have an on-screen addition to the HUD that shows the level and progress to the next level of skill specified by the player.

I imagine the skill could be selected through something like MCM.I'm not great with photo editing, but I've attached an image to give sort of a visual representation as to what I mean. I'm not saying that it has to look just like this, but this is the basic sort of format that I'm thinking of.

Anyone willing to make this a reality or would just love to see this as much as I would please email me;Thanks for reading! I really hope this idea becomes a reality223.25KB 2 downloadsEdited by darkwolf720, 12 October 2016 - 05:57 PM. Been looking for something like this as well.

There is a mod called AHZmoreHUD and it seems to be able to call descriptions/effects to the main HUD when pointing at items in the open. The modder might have insight of this or know something in this area? I wanted to have a go at it as well because I find pages and pages of people asking for this and no mods exist yet that I can see today.I was thinking more along the lines of say 3 or so skills displayed much smaller bars to the right of the compass far up.

Probably more like LineageII style at the top of the screen.
