Up to, there were no communal problems in India; all communal riots and animosity began after 1857.
No doubt even before 1857, there were differences between Hindus and Muslims, the Hindus going to temples and the Muslims going to mosques, but there was no animosity. In fact, the Hindus and Muslims used to help each other; Hindus used to participate in Eid celebrations, and Muslims in Holi and Diwali. The Muslim rulers like the Mughals, Nawab of Awadh and Murshidabad, Tipu Sultan, etc were totally secular; they organised Ramlilas, participated in Holi, Diwali, etc.

Well each one is pretty much a total overhaul and improves the game in almost every way, but each in it's own vision. I actually asked this same question a week or two ago in a discussion and the general consensus is that neither one is objectively better than the other. It's all a matter of personal preference.I myself use Radious and haven't found a reason to move over and try DEI yet. Only thing I've heard about DEI is that you will end up needing a battle limit placed because the battles take FOREVER. Lol Hence why in the description I said which do you prefer.
I started out using Radious, but I like DeI's rosters and general gameplay better, plus DeI will soon have an awesome area-based recruitment system that allows all factions to have something amounting to 'Auxiliaries' like Rome (Also DeI totally overhauls the auxiliaries).I'm sure radious has been updated since I stopped using it (I stopped around when Patch 10 came out and have been playing DeI ever since), but missile units still seemed to be a bit overpowered for my tastes, and I really disliked the fact that morale never seemed to break; I had to kill an entire unit to make it route. Neither, both are unbalanced and trash at the moment.I won't go into depth but here is 2 points about both mods i detest.Radious:A single settlement faction can field +5-10 full stacked armies, making the game a complete monotonous chore to kill them all off just to get that one settlement, also to mention that the economy/public order is completly dumbed down and far easier than the vanilla, lmao. Game needs to be more harder and challenging Radious, not a factory job.Unrealistic and boring.Dei:You can sell trade agreements for an average of about 2000-8000 Denarii to most factions, e.g you can start a Egypt Campaign with over 40,000 in your treasury before ending the first turn because you can sell trade agreements for a ridiculous an unrealistic price. Oh, and slingers, horse archers, well in fact most missle units are nerfed to the point they are just obselete trash that is not worth using.Unbalenced and a huge mess.I'd be more inclined to try Silvern's overhaul than bother with the other two.
